1850s (circa, it's undated) document signed at bottom by John S. Phelps (1814-1886), who was an 1836 West Point graduate who served as a brigadier general in the civil war, as military governor of Arkansas and as governor of Missouri, with service including the battle of Pea Ridge. Mounted to album page at left. Document is a list of names (of unclear origin) and has Phelps' signature at bottom.This material comes from the Civil War autograph, manuscript and document collection formed by Frederick Peck and is guaranteed original and genuine.
