    Description

    1850s (circa, it's undated) document signed at bottom by John S. Phelps (1814-1886), who was an 1836 West Point graduate who served as a brigadier general in the civil war, as military governor of Arkansas and as governor of Missouri, with service including the battle of Pea Ridge.    Mounted to album page at left.  Document is a list of names (of unclear origin) and has Phelps' signature at bottom.
