Listing againbecause the last guy never contacted me after the auction.
Up for no reserve auction is a 1953 Chevrolet 3600. This vehicle is offered with a bonded title. The state of Nebraska is one of the hardest states to get a bonded title in, so all the legal worries have been taken care of. This pickup is fairly solid, but does have some typical rust in it. The driver's cab corner has a small hole in it, the lower drivers front fender has a small hole, and the floorboard and kickboards have rust. There is also a small spot of rust above the windshield, as well as a small spot of rust on the inside of the cab, all easily fixable and pictures are included. The doors, running boards, back cab seam, and around the rear window are all rust free. All the glass is in the pickup. The windshield, and door windows have no cracks, however the back window and the driver's wing window are cracked, but not leaking. The engine is stuck, but complete. Three of the tires hold air, but I think the spare will hold air and will switch them out. The pickup rolls fine for transport.
The story I got on it was that it was owned by a gentleman in rural Burwell Nebraska. He owned the pickup for many years and was eventually parked in a field on their farmstead around 1984. Sometime later after he passed, the farmstead was sold to another person. The guy who I bought the pickup from, bought it from the Man that bought the farmstead.
This would be a great builder pickup, or just a rat rod. Either way these pickups are becoming harder and harder to find everyday in this condition. I also have a 53 3800 for sale as well.
I always give ample time for pickup, BUT THE WHOLE AUCTION PRICE IS DUE WITHIN 7 DAYS OF THE AUCTON ENDING. IF YOU DO NOT PLAN ON BUYING IT, DON'T BID!!!!!! Thanks
