Sierra Classics Imports is proud to present this professionally built 1955 Chevrolet Pickup for sale. The truck was completely disassembled and all new parts were installed from the bottom up nuts, bolts, rubber grommets, etc. The only original components are body panels and the frame (upgraded). This three year build included sand blasted and black powder-coated c-notched frame. The rear suspension is Heidts 4 link with a 9' Ford rear end with Auburn posi track and 350 gears. The font suspension is Heidts mustang 2 rack and pinion with adjustable aluminum coil over shocks front and back. Stopping power is provided by Wilwood power disk brakes front and back tucked behind US Mags with a gunmetal finish and machined lip. The fronts are 18' with 20' in the rear. Power comes from a Chevrolet performance TK 350 HO (385hp) with aluminum heads. Valve covers and air cleaner cover is paint matched. For air and fuel flow, an Edelbrock AVS2 carburetor and Billet Specialties air cleaner is installed. Power is delivered through a 350 automatic transmission with a shift kit. Fuel lines are stainless steel. Aluminum radiator and electric fan keep this power plant cool. The master cylinder was relocated under the cab with all stainless steel brake lines. The incredible sounding 2.5' exhaust is provided by Magna Flow. The 20 gallon fuel tank is from Classic Performance fitted under the Oak wood bed. The bed was stained with orange pearl and kept in place with stainless steel strips. American Auto wiring, Flaming River tilt steering column, Auto-Meter gauges and an aftermarket 1955 Bel-Air steering wheel is what the driver is greeted with upon entry. To keep you cool is a Vintage A/C installed with a custom under dash wrapped console. The cab is completely Dynamatted. The interior is a 1959 Chevrolet Impala copper colored with custom stitching. The bench was shortened and added were 1957 Bel Air armrests. Music is sent through an Alpine headunit to a set of Type S 6.5' components in the front and Alpine Type S 6x9s in the rear. To add some extra thump is a shallow mount Kenwood 10' subwoofer behind the seat. All glass was replaced, and door vent windows were removed and have one piece powered window. All new weather stripping, window channelling, and felts were installed. The paint is PPG 2 stage two-tone pearl. The body is Sierra Gold and the cab roof and striping is tan pearl with orange pearl. The firewall and dashboard have been shaved and the interior colors are two-tone.
