    Featured here is a 4 ounce bag of 500 grit aluminum oxide.
    This aluminum oxide can be used wet or dry
    An example of how to use grits:
    Start off with and aggressive grit such as 80 for the inital cutting,
    then move to the 220 grit to refine the piece and
    then 500 to begin the polish and further refine,
    then walnut shell or cerium oxide to finish the polish.
    Keep in mind the above was only one example and application.
