    Description

For auction is a beautiful piece of carnival glass made by the Fenton Glass Company of Williamstown, West Virginia. The pattern is known as "Stag and Holly" and the shape is a ice cream shaped bowl. The bowl is rather large as it measures 4" tall and is 10 1/4" in diameter.
The bowl depicts a Stag (Male Deer) with antlers and alternating panels or scenes holly leaves and berries. The center of the bowl displays a cluster of holly leaves with berries. The embossed pattern is set against a marigold background or base glass. The pattern repeats itself 4 times. The iridescence is just wonderful as you can see vivid tones of fuchsia, gold, blue an green. The mold is sharp and crisp. The bowl has an ice cream shape and a scalloped saw tooth edge treatment. It sits on 3 ball feet that resembles an Eagle's claw foot grasping the bowl.
The bowl is considered to be in excellent condition as there are no cracks, chips, nicks or dings.  There is some roughness to the bottom of one of the feet and I suspect it happened when pulled from the mold. The piece is unsigned but guaranteed to be vintage Fenton. This piece was made circa 1910-1920.

I want to apologize for slowing down my shipping time. Ebay forced me into managed payments in July of this year 2020.
I used to get my money in 24 hours. I now get it in 3-4 business days. I was told it would be better for me and my fees would go down. This has been the opposite as my fees have actually increased and now it takes longer for me to receive the payments
. Because of this slowdown I will not ship until the payment has made it into my bank account. No store lets you out of the building with the
    merchandise
    unless it is paid for.
    They are also n
ow charging all sellers a commission of 11.5% on sales tax. Pay Pal used to charge 2.9% payment processing fee but Ebay has changed this to 11.5%. This is an increase of 8.6% on the sales tax portion. They are now making a profit on the sales tax and treating it as a sale which in my eyes is wrong!! They did the same on the shipping charges several years ago. They use to not charge anything and now they are charging 11.5% commission on shipping as well. This has raised the cost to ship items to you, the buyer and this is factored into my shipping charges.
If you feel what Ebay is doing is wrong or you don't agree them please contact Ebay and voice your opinion. Maybe if enough of you do this, they will change their policy.
