Fine PEDRO DURAN Spanish Sterling SHELL BOWL w/ CUPID FINIAL-Dolphin Feet-NR

Description

Up for bid is a fine contemporary Spanish sterling shell dish with a figural Cupid finial by Pedro Duran.  The dish is about 5 ½ inches long by 5 inches wide by 4 1/2 inches tall and weighs 125 grams.  The shell swoops downward, with a 3-D cupid figure at the crest.  It stands on three hollow dolphin-form feet.  It has not been monogrammed.  It is marked “925 STERLING” on the back and “[925]MI” with a vase stamp and a signature of “Pedro Duran”
Condition on the piece is quite good.  There are just a couple of minor dings and light wear.  A fine silver shell dish!
