    Description

    NORTHWOOD GOOD LUCK 8-1/2" IRIDIZED MARIGOLD CARNIVAL GLASS BOWL
    Measurements: 8-1/2" dia. x 2" tall and weighs 1# 5 o
    z.
    Made by Northwood Glass of Wheeling, West Virginia C.1910 the color is marigold: an iridescent pale orange highlighted by pink and gold. The central medallion is a horseshoe with 'Good Luck' above it. Behind which is a lunge whip. The central pattern is surrounded by a floral motif with flowers, leaves and wheat stalks. The border is a ruffle with a saw-tooth edge and the outside of the bowl has a ribbed pattern. The bowl is 8-1/2" in diameter and is 2" tall. The finish is satiny smooth and other than a few stacking marks it is undamaged. There is no manufacturer's mark.
