HELL BENT FOR MURDER:
Classic DWAIN ESPER Sexploitation film from the 1930s starring Van Heflin and Wallace Ford. Other than a reference to these venerable actors the film has been lost to the dustbin of film history. No other information is available and the film is not listed in the filmography of either actor.
From the archives of my late father -- movie distributor, exhibitor, producer, writer...and personal friend of Dwain Esper and his wife Hildegarde.
He listed the film in his Esper feature articles, but provided no additional information.
AD VISUAL FEATURES:
Elmer McCurdy mummified corpse-a classic ESPER promotional exhibition stunt. McCurdy was a notorious Oklahoma outlaw. His mummified body was used as a promotional technique by carnivals and also of course Dwain Esper..,
and one of the best come-on lines in road show promotion history (you'll find it on lower left side of ad.)
